Summary
The longer he watched, the more his fingers itched to draw that pose of Katsuki. The one where he was mid-air, fire in his eyes as they focused on the target that was centimetres away, sweat dripping down his face as his arm raised to score a hoop like it was prey. This is what he wanted to draw, not Elks or stupid waterfalls. This. Something that screamed passion and high concentration, something that wouldn’t just look like a picture on a page. Something that was brought to life because of the overwhelming sense of urgency and determination.
Before he could think any further, the notebook and pencil were already in hand as he surrendered and gave in, sketching the first shapes. He didn’t care anymore, only about the drawing. Not his silly feelings or the food that was still laid next to him. Only the creativity that poured out of his fingers while the lead danced across the page, overflowing with something that had never been there before in all the times that he drew. Out of his muse.

The bad news is: he sucks at it. The even worse news is: they need to hire a dorky-looking lyricist who always manages to get on Katsuki's nerves to help them out.

Izuku Midoriya's Quirk was...dangerous. Since the age of four he knew what true nightmares were made of. Demons were the soldiers of hell, and they made it their mission to terrify him for fun. Peeling skin, black sillouhettes, and grating screams that froze him in place where only a part of it. Their words and dark hymns followed him, crushing his body and soul.
But not as much as his mother did. Inko was prone to using her fists and venomous words to beat him down, and she was worse than the demons who followed him day and night.
"God does not shine upon you,"
The demons repeated it like a mantra, and they were all right. God hated them all, the fallen wingless angels who he damned for eternity. He loathed Izuku too, the boy who could see them. Izuku was cursed with an uncontrollable Quirk, but he tamed those demons. They were his, and his alone.
God sneered at him, and he smiled devilishly back. God had given the demons exactly what they needed...
Izuku Midoriya. A King.

Izuku tried then to shove Katsuki away, ignoring the agonizing ache in his body. Katsuki glowered and easily caught his wrists, forcing him to still. They made eye contact and crimson eyes were wild, far deadlier than Izuku had ever witnessed in another person.
“Who.” Katsuki spoke simply. “Tell me who did this to you.”
