Summary
Keep up with the pod.
That was the only rule Pearl was given as a child. And to be fair, she hadn't broken it. Not exactly.
That was a lie. She had definitely broken it. But it wasn't her choice! She had tried, had genuinely tried, to keep up. It was the boat's fault that she had been unable to keep up, that she had been left behind.
When she heard the boat's propeller, she expected for it to die down. To quiet. To slow, like all of the other boats did. But this boat must not have noticed the pod. As the propeller scooped her up in its blades, pain slashed through her entire body, only increased when the boat's engine exploded, sending shrapnel and burns along her skin. The boat itself began to sink, slowly dipping into the waves, and Pearl had no choice but to cling to it as her pod left her behind, injured and in agonizing pain.
Unfortunately, she wasn't alone on the ship.

[SCAR]: Welcome to Ghost GIGGS, the series in which our tight knit crew studies as many supernatural and haunted locations as possible to figure out just how much truth there is to their stories.
