Tommy was not having fun in exile.
At least he had Dream, he was keeping Tommy company. Dream was his only friend. Tubbo exiled him, his family sent him a letter that they didn’t want him anymore. Tommy would be alone if it wasn’t for Dream.
Sure, Dream got intense a lot of the time, but he was helping Tommy! He was going to help Tommy be better, so he could go back to L’manburg. That’s what Dream told him at least, and Dream was his friend, he wouldn’t lie to him.
Tommy missed everyone though. He missed the chaos he and Tubbo would make, he missed Techno and Phil, he just missed it all. He knows he can’t go back, but a man can wish. And if he prayed to whatever god would listen, that was his secret.
Well, it was, until 4 people showed up one night.

Peter Parker never considered himself special. Maybe, yeah, having radioactive blood and spider-like abilities makes him different and his vigilante career is out of the norm and fine, yeah, he's on the autism spectrum. Call that "special" if you want. But under all that, he's a regular college student juggling three jobs, an internship, a sad mockery of a social life, and saving the city day and night. The usual stuff.
So when he somehow catches the eye of a casually gorgeous country boy with an accent that could turn even Aunt May's brick-hard mashed potatoes to mush, he's only thrown for a minute before he writes it off as a fluke. What could a guy like that see in a guy like him anyway?
