He'd just like to stop thinking about it. Maybe it's better, to lock himself away where he is safe from the biting teeth of the outside world.There's a strange boy he keeps meeting on rooftops.
Izuku thinks that they should really stop meeting like this.

Summary
Even in a world where Midoriya Izuku does develop a quirk, life is not kind.
Somehow, ineffably, he still finds his way to being a hero, even when his body fails him. Even if it's the last thing he does.
(where quirks are not always kind, and the author ruminates on the idea that trauma can be a list of smaller things that grow into something bigger and all the more willing to swallow someone whole. But it’ll be okay, eventually, because Izuku’s got Mirio by his side, and Mirio has got him).

He plans to keep that secret and become a quirkless hero, but everything turns upside down at UA and once his secret is out, he has to start over. (with the help of others of course)

Moth Midoriya, quirky having no resemblance of family caused a lot of issues, really good when you look past the grammar. Updated every Monday, currently on chapter 64 which is between Sports event arc and hero killer arc

Summary
Inko loved her son with all of her heart. And yet, if she wanted him to live, she’d have to let him go.
Given up as an infant, Izuku is taken in by the Bakugou family and is raised as one of their own. Until his thirteenth birthday unknowingly passes, Izuku lives a very normal life with his mom, dad, and brother, which is when he discovers that he might just have a quirk after all.
(AKA the AU where Izuku is a merman, and, with his luck, it causes more problems than it should.)
