Summary

Summary
Minho weaves his way through the narrow corridors of their home, ears still thudding with his own heartbeat. Upon smelling his impromptu guest’s scent filtering through the screen of the door, peaking with spicy notes of wariness, he stills and pushes out his own scent to try and appease the young man’s vigilance and assure him of his safety within those walls before even entering the room. Then with practiced — yet very much faked at the moment — nonchalance, Minho slides the door open with an easy smile.
“Sorry for making you wait.”
The other springs up to his feet, and Minho can’t help but notice he’s still clutching the paper bag from the pharmacy they stopped by earlier, almost like he’d been sitting on a stove burner rather than a dingy red velvet couch long past its better days.
“It’s ok, it wasn’t that long.”

Minho makes a bet on a young, homeless omega who has landed in his small restaurant through sheer luck. A bet to try and fix things, to heal his pack. And he can only count on instinct and experience to not repeat past mistakes.
