Stranded in Gotham City with no way back, Peter tries to keep doing what he’s always done—help people, stop criminals, and carry the weight of responsibility on his shoulders.

And Batman does not trust strangers.

And the bat heroes, the mysterious protectors of Gotham. For a person with spider abilities, getting a couple good shots of them shouldn’t be impossible… If he gets caught or not, is another thing.In which Peter ends up in Gotham. Gets a job in the Gotham gazette. And takes photos of the Batfam.

Chimney blinks. “Eddie,” he says. “Who’s Eddie?”
At that Maddie barks out a laugh and claps a hand over her mouth, which is adorable. “That’s funny,” she says, but then her eyes settle on Chimney’s puzzled face. Her eyebrows shoot up. “Wait, you don’t- you really don’t know?”
“Uh. No.”
“What do you- oh my god, he usually can’t shut up about him. I guess it really is worse than I thought this time.”
“This ti- Maddie, please, take some pity on me. What is going on? Who is Eddie?”
Maddie’s face does something complicated then. There’s a flash of sadness, then she smiles, but it seems a little defeated. She scratches her chin and reaches for her wine, before she says, “my brother in law.”or: Chimney and Hen have the new guy figured out. Or so they thought.
