Yet the truth is, they were just platonic soulmates. Needless to say, no one could have guessed that Ace is an arson with some serious aesthetic fixation.
And everyone also knows that Shanks is in pursuit of courting Marco, but even the Red-haired will never know that Marco is the famous serial killer.
Well, except for Thatch and Izou.
They found out when they invited Marco to have dinner together. Who else could taste the faint iron smell from that single droplet of sauce on the plate? The [Phoenix] would never miss it.
And likewise, Marco was the only one that realised there's a couple of cannibals in their family. Ever since then, he had become their personal butcher. In return, he got special meals every here and there.
Until one day, Thatch decided that they should share the beauty of the act to everyone, making pastries out of human fats, and sell it to the cafe that slowly earned a place in their heart.
Well, surprise surprise. Those pastries had caught [Fire Fist]’s eyes.

A single one of Marco's brows rose, an almost taunting look on his face. “Is that so.”
“Yes. For real this time.” Ace refused to acknowledge how many other times he had said similar things, each one turning into a lie as he accepted Marco again and again. But this time he was serious- he was still ignoring the fact that he'd thought this before. This was the last time.

I have always chosen defeat rather than being handed it.
However, it seems that Professor Lockwood has defeated me in a game I didn’t even realise I was in.The spectrum of Gareth Carson's emotions and qualities is wide and vibrant. He's calm, compassionate, loyal, and generous. He's also slightly violent, rather stubborn, and a tad bit vindictive. Good and bad. More good than bad. A perfect balance.
But love? He has no idea where love sits on this spectrum. In fact, he's not even sure if there's a place for it at all.

"Luffy, your name is Luffy, not that!!!" He said with anger. Luffy who sat up now glared at Garp before frowning, "But why do I need to hide my real name?!!!" He asked and crossed his arms on his chest. "I don't understand at all!!"
"Your real name is Nika?" Ace asked to which Luffy nodded happily. Garp scratched his head in worry.
"Fine!" Garp said, "Listen to me!" Luffy looked at Garp and the others even did the same. "If the marines ever come to know about your real name, and if by any chance the World Government came to know about your existence they will kill you in spot."
"Why will they kill coz of my name?" Luffy frowned but soon burst out laughing, "And do you think," Luffy's eyes flickered to golden, "they can kill me?" Luffy started laughing hard, his one hand on his stomach and the other on his eyes.

Summary
Through a completely unrealistic series of events, Naruto—the Hokage of Konoha—lands in the body of his younger counterpart, twenty-two years into the past.
What follows is Naruto making the most of his second life which includes turning revenge-thirsty Sasuke into a normal angsty teenager, helping Sakura get over her puppy crush, annoying Kakashi and somehow getting himself entangled in a romance with Shikamaru (which for the record, doesn’t even feel like one).
Orochimaru and the Akatsuki linger in the background, but Naruto’s not letting them ruin his life by a stupid war to feed the ego of a dead man. Again, that is.
