Summary
Anakin had never heard of Master Kenobi, and given the situation, he didn’t think that was a good thing either. Not only was he being forcibly demoted - despite the fact that he was already knighted and a highly Decorated general of The Clone Wars, which, by the way, they’d won – he was to apprentice under a new Master that nobody had even heard of before.
Or, Anakin Skywalker is assigned a new Master who is thirty years his senior. The result is perhaps not what The Council intended.

Summary
Obi-Wan has never believed he was meant to be a father, or even a Master. Teaching and guiding another person, especially one so young, has never called to him. Now, this sniffling, tiny boy with his scraped knee in his hands all but assures him he was never meant to parent.
Anakin smiles at him, but his eyes are still gleaming with unspilled tears.
“Come then, we’re finished for today.” Obi-Wan moves to stand, but Anakin’s face is intense, his hand half stretched out to him. “Is something wrong, little one? Does it still hurt?”
Anakin shakes his head, looking closer to tears than he has since he fell. “Could you… kiss it, Master?”

He is undeniably, horrifically, extremely attached to Anakin Skywalker. Whether he ever directly faces it or not, Obi-Wan is aware of it on some level. He knows it because he indulges Anakin. He indulges him, probably far too much. At least that's what he suspects anyone else would say, if they found out he fucks his former apprentice for most of the war, because Anakin wants it. Needs it. Asks for it. And Obi-Wan gives Anakin everything he possibly can. Even if it risks destroying them both. Even if he is flagrantly violating the Jedi Code.
