Post S4. Chloe's relieved Lucifer managed to figure out how to live full time on Earth, even if he still has to make business trips to Hell about once a month to make it work. She knows she messed up the first time around when it came to understanding this part of his life, but she's determined to do it right from now on.
aka 5 times a demon came to Earth to get Lucifer's help and 1 time they came to get Chloe's help.

“This is Lux,” Pink Top, obviously speaking as a Lux regular, says authoritatively. “Everyone always knows where Lucifer Morningstar is.”
“But, were you saying he’s not picking a date tonight?” The blonde is persistent. “Or that he already has?”
“Bad luck, sorry,” Red Dress says with such surety, Chloe’s almost worried she’s going to come out of the bathroom to find Lucifer missing—already upstairs with a guest. Therefore, it takes her completely by surprise when the woman continues by saying, “the Detective is here.”
Chloe freezes at Lucifer’s moniker for her on this stranger’s lips.

“How do you do it?” Lucifer asks, his gaze still on the closed front door Trixie had walked through minutes ago.
Chloe’s brow furrows as she turns from the sink to look at him. “Do what?”
He starts at her voice. His eyes land on her as if he’s only just realizing the words had actually made it out of his mouth and she heard them. She can see him have a brief internal debate, before he commits to his question. “How do you make it not a burden—when you say you love her?”

Their competitiveness is fierce, to be certain, but surely, Hollander would be the bigger person, no? “This is my fucking room, Rozanov. Wild horses couldn't drag me away.”

His grin widens and then he’s beaming like a Christmas tree. “Oh, imagine that. The Devil, solving crimes with a beautiful and brilliant detective. He’s a clear asset, but she’s reluctant to accept his help. Whatever will happen between them?”

Summary
It feels wrong to just stand here, with the evidence of her choices all over her house. A part of her wants to tell him the news, but Chloe bites her tongue and waits. She’s tried to get him to talk, time and time again. It’s his turn.
Finally, Lucifer meets her eye for a moment. “When I asked you to come to my place the other night...”
Her heart skips a beat.
“Detective...” He breathes in deep. Then breathes out. Clasps his hands in front of him.
She takes a step towards him.
“Chloe,” he tries again. “I don’t know how you feel about Pierce.” His pupils are blown wide and he doesn’t look away from her. “I don’t know how he feels about you, or whether you should marry him or not. I don’t. But I do know how I feel about you. I should’ve been honest with you when you asked. And I-” His mouth works, but the words seem to be stuck in his throat. He looks away, frustrated, and back at her, and away again.
Hardly daring to breathe, Chloe waits.
