Summary
The LAPD didn’t often hire convicted juvenile delinquents, but Brian O’Conner was just lucky like that he supposed. He never got why his mom stayed with his dad, after all that he did, but now. After working his ass off in undercover assignment after assignment he got it. He would do anything to get his skin back. He would do anything to finally leave this nasty mortal society brimming in false justice and corruption.
Brian had been asked to do many undercover operations in his stent over working undercover, but never was something so in his wheelhouse. When he heard “cars” all he could think of the semblance of freedom that the only thing in this mortal society could bring him. Oh. He would enjoy this assignment.
What happens when the LAPD works with the FBI and holds, not Brian’s detective badge over his head, but his skin? What happens when Brian falls for Dom’s family values? Will he still make the same choices? Will Dom be able to convince him to stay once he has his skin back?
