Summary
As the Guardian of Time, Mark didn't usually like to watch his friends' countdown timers. It was rude, and an invasion of privacy. When they died was none of his business, as long as he was there in the end to help them along that road. But that all changed when Daniel died. Now, with Jack's timer leaving him with a little over six months, Mark can't afford to not care; what's going on?

Summary
Cole had given her the idea, in a roundabout way. He said something about Varric writing letters, “only the one response he really wants is from a letter he’ll never get to send.”
And that got Lavellan thinking. She did, after all, have the ability to open a miniature kind of rift and send smaller demons and creatures back into the fade, from whence most of them came. So what if she could send other things, too?
Like, just for example you see, a letter?

Summary
A frustrating experience during a battle causes Julien and Occtis to reassess the argument that they had outside Obrimus Manor.
“What the fuck was that?” Julien’s voice was loud and clear and, most of all, more furious than Occtis had ever heard it before.
He grimaced slightly, but he wasn’t the one being yelled at, not this time, so he decided to take a few steps away from the group to begin the process of re-summoning Pin, who’d been destroyed in the battle.
“What was what?” Thimble asked, and she sounded genuinely confused. Human-sized again, and Occtis had almost gotten used to that. “Kattigan saved your life back there. Why are you so angry about it?”
It was an odd little reminder that Thimble hadn’t been along during Occtis’s trip with Julien to the old empire. She didn’t know Julien, not really. She knew some version of him that he’d been before his father had been murdered, but she didn’t know him now.
“I didn’t need any help,” Julien said, and Occtis could see him glaring around at the others. “I was fine.”

Summary
There is a cost to existing as an undead with a mind of his own; Occtis finds that his cost is a hunger for blood, one he tries to ignore until he has no other choice. In the Eternal Night, there are few living things to serve as prey, and the hunger does not subside just because he wants it to.
Enter Julien, who has little patience with Occtis' struggle over his newly monstrous hunger.
AKA the AU where Occtis is trying to do ethical vampirism and Julien is having none of it, because Occtis is starving himself and Julien has SO much blood.
