Vincent Whittman was one of the top executives at Morning Star Enterprises and Alastor Touissant had the misfortune of being one of the interns shadowing him for the fall semester. Alastor was in his final year of undergrad, studying for a bachelor’s degree in media studies, and he knew he was in a very prestigious position.

“I wanted to see how you were doing,” Allie said, delighting at the discomfort etched across Victoria’s face. “I’m staying in Los Angeles for two weeks and heard you were in the city. My friend Angel had told me about his ex acquiring a new toy and the face in the picture he showed me was quite familiar.”
Victoria’s face suddenly flushed red with anger.
“Whatever Angel said, it’s not true,” Victoria said, gritting her teeth. “Or at the very least, I’m above the things he used to do for Val. I’m not a fucking hooker.”

“Go on, then,” she enticed, voice low and velvety as her fingers wrapped around the blade, drawing it tighter against her throat. “What are you waiting for? This is your big moment, isn’t it?” She watched, mesmerized as the blade split her skin, merlot rivulets of blood trailing down her neck.
“How are you not scared?” she managed to grit out, body thrumming with that vague, urgent need that she was dying to give into. Still, for whatever reason, she couldn’t move.
“Why would I be scared of you, hm? You can’t even look at me,” she hummed, shoulders shifting against the wall. She could practically feel her gaze tearing into her as she waited, hands still resting on the blade of the knife, a silent dare. “Come on, Victoria, there’s no reason to be bashful now!”. . .
Or: I've made a semi-convoluted AU where Vox and Alastor are women (but more importantly, active serial killers) in the 1950s.

Somewhere along her path to success, Victoria begins a killing spree of her successors and through her own charms, manages to take the spotlight she so rightfully deserves. Little does she know, Alice Hartfelt has been hot on her heels and wants to give her some…advice from her crimes.
