    Hawkmoth's been defeated for a full year, and the Miracu-Squad are well on their way to unlocking the full potential of their miraculi as they patrol the crime-ridden streets of Paris. However, Bustier's Class has transferred to Gotham Academy for their last year of highschool, and on the first night there a sleep-deprived Marinette had a little run-in with several of Gotham's Caped Crusaders. Quickly garnering their respect, Marinette finds herself unknowingly adopted by the most powerful family in Gotham, as one by one she captures all their hearts and they capture hers. Though she may or may not have gotten a little more than attached to Damian, the quiet, determined boy.
    Marinette's love life becomes increasingly complicated as something stirs in the depths of Gotham's heart, and little by little Marinette realizes her work may be finished in Paris for the time being, but it's quite clear this next chapter of her life is in Gotham and it's going to be a wild ride.
    Meanwhile, the BatFam starts doing a little digging on Marinette and her friends, and one by one are confronted with the fact that the trio is no longer quite... Human.

    An AU fic to the Awesome Ozmav's original AU fic. Where Marinette and Miss. Bustier's class go on a class trip to Gotham.

    I would highly recommend reading her fic "Damian Wayne" first. This fic branches off at the end of part 2!

    In the OG AU, the cast is about 15-16. Here they are more in the realm of 17-18+. This age up is mostly so that I may have some freedom for the possibilities of adult themes later as well as to account for any personal growth.

    Also, in this fic Lila is still around and has been doing her best to keep her threat to leave Marinette friendless for the last 2-3 years.

    Where will this go? Not even I am sure!

    The sweet irony almost makes Marinette laugh.
    And to think that the little Parisian had to leave the city of love and reach the city of crime to find true love.

    Damian, on the other hand, didn't know who to blame.
    He only knew that he had fallen before the spell of that pair of blue eyes that did not come out of his mind, bringing light to the darkest city in America.

    Marinette is, despite being hurt, a kind heroine whose soul is as pure as an angel.

    Damien is generally sullen with everyone. A vigilante who learned what human relationships mean a little late. As fierce as a demon.

    None of them knows exactly how, but they find their other half in the least likely person.

    Marinette gets cursed by a witch to be unable to kiss anyone but her True Love- Which sucks a lot because she's very french and kissing is her culture. Also, dating in your twenties is really hard? And its important to keep trying because if you don't want to be alone, then you shouldn't feel forced to be alone?

    Robin is in the right place in the right time, and honestly, things are net positive for him in this story.
