“...sleep on your arm?” came the sleepy reply.
Hyunsoo sighed, exhausted. “No I mean, I like to hold a pillow.” he shrugged and went back to the teddy bear section. He was too tired to think. He was about to choose one at random when Jihyuk spoke up again, more awake and too casual to be real.
“You could hold me…?”
And Hyunsoo…Hyunsoo huffed out a laugh. “Can you be any more obvious, man?” He gave a tired grin and Jihyuk blushed, deeply.
“You’re the one looking for a teddy bear.” he tried to defend, glaring at Hyunsoo.
“Yeah, yeah…” Hyunsoo considered it for a second, before rolling over onto his side, facing Jihyuk. He opened his arms wide, “If you're sure, then, sure. Come here?”
Or, Hyunsoo needs to hug a pillow in order to sleep and Jihyuk volunteers himself in it's place.

Summary
If there are two things to be known about Yoo Jisuk, it is that he a) hates the summer, and b) has absolutely shit luck. He never asked to stumble into the information he's now found himself privy to, and quite frankly, he'd have rather been left in the dark. If it was winter, Jisuk could've fallen asleep and avoided this whole mess, but alas, the summer heat had kept him awake and look where that's gotten him; several meters over from two awakeners whose flirtations border on bullying as he plays the terrified witness to a tryst that he never wanted to know about in the first place.

It was probably twenty or thirty minutes after Gwen had issued the call, the sun now sinking below the tips of the trees, that—between one blink and another—a man appeared at the edge of the forest.
Something froze in Gwen’s chest, her heart clenching in, burning cold. Would he recognize her?
The man waited there patiently while Gwen rose and walked to the boundary of her property. She bit at the cut on her thumb until it reopened and she let a drop of blood fall onto the ground. She deliberately smudged the blood with her foot.
The man—Cale—raised an eyebrow but said nothing. Gwen didn’t particularly want to have this conversation out here, so she turned for her house.
“Please seal the wards,” she said. “This was a specific invitation, not a general welcome.”
