Arthur makes another embarrassed whine, but he doesn't stop his movements, giving up on restraining himself.
"I didn't know you liked it that much," he swirls his finger around, playing with the pre-cum.
Arthur covers his mouth with his arm. "When you say it like that… How couldn't I like it?…" He mumbles.

The dark sea surrounded him. Water, water, everywhere. There was something almost comforting in the way it filled his every sense and left no room for anything else. It felt…full. It filled his throat, his lungs. He felt the beating of his own heart like the crashing of the breaking waves.
"Arthur?" John asked again.
"Yes," came the choked reply, a gasping plea from a drowning man.
"Alright."
John's hand continued lightly dancing over the skin of Arthur's shoulders. The fingers traced down Arthur's right arm, then back up and over his chest. They came to rest over Arthur's heart.He was floating. Or maybe sinking. Or maybe drowning.

Arthur and John enjoy a relaxing shower together. I wrote it having caught up to the latest episode (which as of now is episode 2 of season 2) but left it intentionally vague so there aren't any spoilers and it can be slotted anywhere in the story.

He's only thought about that once or twice, and he certainly didn't picture it being quite this painful or gruesome. Coming out as not cis apparently wasn’t enough, now he has to come out as a fish. He just hopes that Jack isn't too put off by the scales and razor sharp fangs.
