Summary
“You won’t be in danger, I promise. I also have a son, he’s about your age.”
The boy leaned forward, looking at the picture with wonder. “That’s your son?”
“Yes! His name is Diluc. He’s a little angel.” Crepus beamed. “You can meet him if you want.”
The child hesitated before nodding his head. “O-okay, I’ll come with you.”
Crepus smiled gently at him, wrapping his coat around the little boy to hopefully offer him some more warmth and cover from the rain. “May I have your name?”
The blue-haired boy looked up at Crepus with a twinkle in his eyes. “K-Kaeya, Kaeya Alberich.”
Kaeya is lost in the streets of the city Monstadt, and all that's left from his father are the words "You are our last hope" except this time they are in the modern era. Crepus finds him all alone just like before, bringing Kaeya under his wing…the Abyss Order is waiting…waiting for him to choose a side. Will he pick the right decision?

“Captain Kaeya!” Venti greeted with enthusiasm, waving a hand. “Would you mind buying me a drink? I seem to have lost my coin pouch somewhere.”
Kaeya laughed, sitting next to him. “Of course, how could I not? For your songs are worth far more than just a few bottles of wine.” He looked towards the dark corner, waving at someone in the shadows. “Hey Rosaria! Would you like a drink as well?”
A sigh followed by a woman with dark red hair coming out from the shadows. “Don’t bother. I can pay for myself.”
“Hey, what about me, Captain Kaeya?” he heard a voice coming from behind him.
“Hello, Eula,” Kaeya greeted. “If it’s a free drink you want, it’s a free drink you will have. I’m feeling extra generous today!”
Eula chuckled, taking a seat on the other side of him. “As if I would let the birthday boy pay. All drinks on me.”
“What a chivalrous lady! I should start taking notes.”
It’s Kaeya’s birthday! A day in Kaeya’s life but it’s the day he was born! Celebrate with him as he greets all of his friends and gets a nice surprise at the end of his day! :D

In the sea of azure flames stood a lone figure, with long, flickering tendrils of fire as its hair and flowing flares as its robes.
Slowly, it turned its head, white-hot flames flaring where its eyes should be. Its gaze met with Varka’s, and its face cracked open into an eerie grin, smiling almost ear to ear. The pale flames of the vampire’s eyes retreated, and in its place, revealed human-like irises— They were golden. A bright, beautiful gold. Like fireflies along riverbanks, like stars in the night sky.
The fire of its face gave way to unveil thin, pale lips. They parted with a sigh, golden eyes narrowed, and the vampire spoke.
“Please,”
“Lay me to rest with those buried under these graves.”

Of which vampire Flins wished to meet his end, but Varka begged to differ.
Thought to be a threat by the Lightkeepers and the Knights of Favonius, Flins was held prisoner in Piramida following a huge outbreak of the Wild Hunt in Final Night Cemetery, and through their transactions, Varka gradually learnt more and more about vampires and the ghouls that they brought upon these lands— the Wild Hunt.

Like a fool, Kim Dokja opened his mouth. He did the only thing he could think to do:

Kim Dokja spat out whatever words he remembered Yoo Sangah practising. Yoo Joonghyuk did not look impressed.

Summary
The downside of being the only reader of an unpopular novel is that there are essentially zero fan art to look at, or fanfics to read. So, Kim Dokja saw nothing wrong with cooking his own food.
He just wasn’t prepared at all for the sheer horror of having the author AND the protagonist stumbling across his fix-it, self-insert, 400k+ words longfic years later.
