Summary
All she wanted was to beat Resident Evil 2 on Hardcore mode.
What she got instead?
Repeated deaths. Terrible aim. Zero ammo. And a very personal, growing hatred for Mr. X.
After an entire weekend of suffering, she decided to go out, touch some grass, and maybe eat something that wasn’t instant noodles.
Big mistake.
Because somewhere between “I need fresh air” and “why are those dogs staring at me like that?”… she ended up running for her life.
And when she ducks into an alley to escape?
She finds a gas station that shouldn’t exist.
One that looks way too familiar.
One that leads her straight into the worst night of her life——and right into Leon S. Kennedy.
Now, trapped inside the game she couldn’t even beat, she has two problems:
1. Survive Raccoon City.
2. Try not to get emotionally attached to a man who technically isn’t real.(Spoiler: it’s already too late.)

Summary
Raccoon City is falling into irreparable despair. More than half the population has been unaccounted for - either missing, deceased or...almost. Those who remain from Umbrella scramble to cover their tracks after the release of 'G', survivors fight with everything they have to keep bite marks off their skin and keep haste in their step. In the few days before the city enters the point of no return, a young woman is rushed to the Spencer Memorial following a fatal gunshot wound. Days later, she awakens from a heavy comatose with mysterious bruises covering her arms, a disheveled appearance and is isolated in an abandoned trauma ward. Maya outruns strange soldiers in masks, squeezes by undead hands and through fallen structures to find herself standing in the pouring rain, faced with a city erupted in flames and destruction. Maya comes to realize the importance of watching her back - it becomes clear why there are soldiers searching high and low for her.

Frantic and too anxious to use the handgun, you throw a flash grenade. It doesn’t do anything. Despite being chased by a mutated and inhuman monster, Leon still has time to throw you an incredulous look.
In your stupidity, you forgot to pull the pin.
(Alternatively: It is September 1998. You are nineteen years old and living in Racoon City. Or, you were, until about five days ago. Now you're just surviving, and badly at that. But hey, at least you've got Leon Kennedy by your side, right?)
