Summary
While Kris and Susie are spending the night in Castle Town, Ralsei wakes up from a nightmare to find that his claws have grown back in.
He must prune himself of his thorns, to pull out the weeds from the carefully-curated garden that is his sense of self. He must make himself peaceful and palatable, lest the ending of this tale refuse to change.
That is what Ralsei has long since believed. Tonight, those beliefs are challenged.

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique
Absolute favorite. It's incredibly wholesome, the world-building is deep and interesting, the characters are given more complexity, and a lot of the bs these demons do in canon is explored thoroughly and realistically, instead of being glossed over.
