    Summary

“And what about your husband Hideyoshi?” Teio asked. “I know you said he was doing accounting work with the local businesses. Is he still in that business, or—”

Ten sets of chopsticks stopped moving in sequence across the restaurant.

Nature's smile crumpled. “He died, Teio.”

More than two decades after the miracle at the Arima Kinen, a coincidence brings Tracen Academy trainer Tokai Teio through the doors of Nice Nature's restaurant. But a coincidence isn't what brings an ordinary woman and her former crush closer than ever before.

Only pain could do that. Pain, and the urge to keep running, no matter how bad it gets.

Tokai Teio, the star who won McQueen’s heart instead, is nowhere to be seen.

As fire burns through the trees and she awakens a terrifying power, the attention of an entire nation is fixed upon Nice Nature’s head, and fate demands that she fulfill an impossible prophecy. And the longer that Nature spends in Ashglame, the more she becomes convinced of one thing:

This world would’ve been better with Tokai Teio in it.

    Summary

Since the birth of the Clans, it has been tradition for leadership to be passed down family lines— from kin to kin. But that all changed when Silverhawk's father, Mothpelt, lost his rightful position as SkyClan's leader because of the actions of Maplewhisker, the Usurper, and the treacherous warrior, Robinwing. The pair then codified their treason into law, changing the warrior code forever.

Silverhawk grew up learning of this travesty, and Mothpelt instilled in him his duty to reclaim the dynasty his kin had held for generations. But, Silverhawk's path to power is rife with challenges. Beyond Maplestar and Robinwing, he must also reckon with Emberdawn, a feisty, stubborn she-cat. Yet as Silverhawk grows, he finds that his apprenticeship rival may actually prove to be his most valuable companion and ally.

Seasons pass, and Silverhawk’s family claws back their honor and influence little by little. But as bitter feuds and resentment only continue to grow between him and SkyClan’s current leadership, Silverhawk knows that he will stop at nothing to see his family’s birthright restored.

(Takes place in the Ancient Clans, after the Field Guide: Code of the Clans story “Follow My Leader.”)
