When the Avengers and Bucky come back to the Tower Tony wants to replace Bucky's arm; however, he doesn't know what types of drugs would be needed in order to put him under so Tony can replace the shoulder docking. So Tony ends up having to watch Howard's old research videos of Tony being injected to find out what exactly the Serum is made from and what he needs in order to make an effective surgical anesthesia for Bucky.
And that's how the team finds Tony. On a drinking binder surrounded by tapes holding his darkest secret. -

Summary
Jim Lake Jr. is just a whelp when he's found by Prince Bular, the young hybrid is afraid, alone, and small, so naturally Bular brings him back to the Janus Order. Soon, he's joined by another, a slightly older boy, a wizard by the name of Hisirdoux Casperan.
Decades later, Jim meets teenagers who are strangely welcoming to him, even with his half-human and half-trollish nature. Slowly, he finds himself in the fight between The Trollhunter, and his family.
Unfortunately, this does not help his crush on the new Trollhunter, or his really cool witch friend. But they keep saying Gunmar's rule isn't something he should want, and Jim is made to question everything he knows, everyone he calls family, and the very underground organization that he calls home.

Summary
Jim should know better by now.
However, he doesn’t, and it shows through each of his actions — he should know better than to expect the best outcome, and know that life’s lemons hold no juice, that the pith is thick and bitters the rest of it. There is no lemonade to be made, nor can the zest be used either. Truly nothing culinarily good can come from it.
So, instead, Jim makes use of said fateful fruit by pelting his enemies, too bitter and sour himself, and always a bit of Toby's shadow.
After resetting the timeline, Jim does not resume being the Trollhunter. A calculated risk he's taken. Of course, he sets a new timeline in motion with that one choice of not being Merlin's chosen trollhunter. He's made ripples in the past, and events that might not be able to be altered.
What will await them at the end of the world?
