Summary
Logan has never really thought about scents and smells before, at least not in a specific way. Sure, it's good to be blessed with human senses - as the monster hunter he is, it is definitely helpful in many cases to be able to smell the difference between an edible and a toxic plant, or to be able to tell when a certain monster's coming too close, possibly turning into a threat... just to give a few examples.
Besides all of that, though, it has never been too important for him to focus on such things.
...Well, that has changed within the recent past, however. Changed drastically, actually.
Because here the white haired ex-bandit is now, and he's suddenly thinking rather enthusiastically about the whole topic of human senses. Of his own nose, to be precise. Of what he's taking in, causing him to swallow, his nostrils to flare... ---You see, this is not about monster guts or edible plants, neither is it about slow-cooked pork ribs and sand rice cake.
It's about Owen.

She gently placed her clean clothes down on some grass. Her fingers then reached up to start working at the knot of her obi on her kimono that princess Shuna had been so gracious to make for her. It was a breathtaking baby blue and was her favorite of all her clothes she had so far been granted. With the obi pulled off she could feel the material around her body come loose. But before it could completely fall open she held the material together.
“You know I would almost think you are not a very good spy,” she said, picking her head up to shift and look into the tall branches of a tree not too far behind her watching the figure in the tree drop down after a moment of what she guessed was hesitation as she watched him land before using just his name as a greeting, “Souei.”
This man does not get enough love. So here’s a short Souei one shot.
