Colin bounded his way across the cold morning dew on the grass, his heavy paws sliding underneath him as he galloped along. He and his parents just returned from their longest journey abroad yet. They took a long voyage on a boat from a faraway land that had a lot more sun than England did, especially in April. They also drove on the other side of the road and spoke much faster and louder than he was used to.
He was so very happy to be back home. And not just home, but in a brand new home. A bigger one with more rooms than their previous flat. This was a proper townhouse in London with stairs and long hallways for fetch. The best part was the park directly across the street. He was lucky enough to go at least twice a day since they moved in.

“You’re only a little bit older than I was when I came out. It’s harder when you’re bi, because you can convince yourself that the attraction you feel to the opposite gender is the real attraction. You can’t be gay, can you? Not if you still fancy girls - or boys, in your case,” he adds.
