Today had been the first time she'd ever met the King in person, just him and her staring at each other in a room full of strangers.
Although, despite this twisted society they were in, there was a look in Dimitri's eye that made her curious. Like it was destiny for them to be together, to be bonded for life. A dark part of her liked that, secretly she'd always wanted to meet the king that had everyone in the church thought was some war mongrel. He normally rejected omegas, at least that's what she'd heard in between the whispers and rumors.
Byleth wondered what made her so special to him.
