    Summary

He thought her dead for a millennium. Before he ever tore down the veil and destroyed their world even further. All because of their own actions. They had killed Mythal. They had killed her. He would not forgive them. Could not. They had taken everything from him. So how was she standing there smiling at the young inquisitor? Offering her hand to help the Dalish elf back to her feet after she’d helped seal the rift.
    -x-x-x-
She had awakened to a world detached from itself. Fear of magic, of spirits and the fade. It had been so long since she’d been awake, she didn’t know what to do. Everything she knew was gone. Everyone she knew was gone. She felt hopeless. But she knew her purpose. So, she followed it. And somehow, her purpose always leads her back to him.

    Summary

Felassan smirked. “Laughter doesn’t come naturally to you, does it?”

Tamaris Lavellan gave him a deeply skeptical look. For someone who was Tranquil until very recently, he certainly was lighthearted. “Are you living in the same world as I am? What the fuck is there to laugh about?”

He shrugged. “I suppose that depends on where you find humour.”

She tsked. “If you’re looking for someone to laugh with, you’ve come to the wrong house.”

“You know,” he said thoughtfully, “I don’t think I have.”

    **************************

In other words: it is canon that people who are killed in the Fade become Tranquil in the real world. What if Solas didn’t kill Felassan after all at the end of The Masked Empire? Patrick and Karin Weekes said in this interview that if enough people care what happened to Felassan, he could come back…

Thus we begin my contribution to the Save Felassan Campaign, in the only way I know how: a smutty romance fic.

    Summary

The Forgotten Ones weren't always... well, forgotten. The stories were likely partially true, the tales of cruelty and hiding in the darkness. They were everything they shouldn't have been - those who caused terror, pain, despair. The woman the world would eventually know as Inquisitor Lavellan was, in fact, a Forgotten One. Somehow Isathe was not imprisoned by the Dread Wolf in the abyss with the rest of them. Whatever the reason, the former spirit of Curiosity coaxed into physical form was stuck in the aftermath of that event. She felt the moment the Veil was created and pulled her even farther from her home. Then she slept. Slept for thousands of years until she woke in a world where elves were no longer what they had been. She had to find a way to stay alive and adjust to the world that formed from the Betrayal so long ago.

Isathe was an ancient elf, a member of the Forgotten Ones and awakened years before the Breach before being pulled into the Inquisition. Hiding herself from the prying eyes of those who would condemn her for her past, the wolf that haunts her dreams and the unsettling gaze of the apostate elf who appeared to know more than he let on.

    Summary

She wakes up in another world, completely different, but utterly familiar. She knows the people, she knows what's going to happen, but she's on the wrong side of the screen and doesn't know if any of it is real. Finding out she's now an elf, doesn't really help either.

She's afraid to get too close to anyone, afraid to wake up and lose it all, but to survive she needs their help and she's going to do whatever she can to make sure they all get through it together.

And then there's him. That tall bald elf who can make a lesson on magical theory more captivating than (most) cute cat videos. Will he just leave again in the end? She can't help hoping there's some way to get him to change his plans....

    Cake might help.

    Summary

Rowan sits bolt upright, blood rushing to her brain, and nearly loses consciousness again.

    “Varric?”

She looks around. She’s not in Minrathous. She’s not in the Lighthouse. She’s in a small wooden hut, the Frostback chill seeping in through the thick pine walls and competing for dominance with the heat of the fire crackling in the fireplace.

She’s in Haven. 9:41 Dragon. She traveled through space and time, arriving not at Arlathan before Solas’s ritual, but at the Ferelden Conclave, just to be blown up, hurtled back into the Fade she’d so recently escaped from and then out again, now marked by god magic.

    Fuck.

When Rook discovers that time travel exists - and her friend Dorian helped pioneer it - she begs him for a favor: send her back to the ritual so she might save her mentor and friend, Varric, from Fen'Harel's knife. Dorian sends her back, all right - eleven years back, to the moment everything went to hell and the Herald of Andraste was born.
