Summary
Horus and his supporters go to a sand lake in order to hopefully uncover the last of the ancient powers Horus needs to ascend to godhood to help retake his throne. But rather than the remnants of an old war god, he finds the god himself, trapped by the remnants of Horus' dead father, Osiris. Horus decides to intervene.

There were multitudes of romanticised descriptions of what contact between soulmates felt like; in lives so bound by feeling, it was obvious that there would be, especially for the first full touch of a soulmate.
The first proper touch of a soulmate, which fills in the previously shapeless ink-stain on one's skin, taking shape until it is a clear memoir of just who you are meant to spend your life with. In any small bursts of skin contact, the mark will barely colour itself in; it takes a few prolonged moments of contact before the soul-tying painting truly comes to life, and it has long been said to be something absolutely magical in sensation.
Seth felt inclined to disagree.
