Summary
Alright so the story goes that monsters and humans once lived in peace on the surface. Then one day humans started a war, the war of souls. Monsters lost and were forced under the mountain Ebbot where they were sealed away by seven mages behind a barrier. Those mages were the last of the council of magi, or as we call those traitors the Apostates. What the story’s fail to mention is that once the Monsters were sealed away that all mages were persecuted and either enslaved or killed for existing.
Those that were enslaved became loyal dogs to humans and as the generations and time slowly passed they lost the connection to their Soul losing their magic altogether. Those of us that were able to escape the hounding live in solitude. Most constantly traveled either in small groups, while others formed small villages in places that normal humans could not reach. Have you ever heard of Shangri-La? Atlantis? Camelot? EL Dorado? Those are all magi cities that no human could ever get to. Why am I telling you all this? Well I was one of the poor MageS to be captured by the hunters. Apparently those bastards in the government even after hundreds of years never forgot about my kind. And this my dear reader is where our story begins.Series
