Summary
This story is inspired by a tumblr prompt that I once came across and originally wanted to write into a MDZS fic but Luo Binghe beat me to it.
Shen Yuan is the youngest general ever appointed in the Three Realms. Until an injury forces him into early retirement and Luo Binghe has a brilliant alternative career plan for him.
Step One is getting Shen Yuan to agree to it.
Step Two is not losing his mind when he proves successful.Meanwhile, Shen Yuan is adjusting to his new life and to his own surprise mostly enjoying himself. But who wouldn't when he gets to see Binghe (ahem taizi dianxia) this often while wearing pretty dresses. This doesn't say anything about him, of course. Anyone would feel the same in this situation. Obviously.

When a milestone event for Proud Immortal Demon Way gives readers the opportunity to write a letter of support to the protagonist, Shen Yuan uses this as an opportunity to directly voice his complaints of the story to Airplane. In order to bypass the moderators, Shen Yuan writes a ridiculously long "guide" for Luo Binghe, leaving the last few pages as his actual message to Airplane. Unexpectedly, the letter gets lost along the way.
Meanwhile, Luo Binghe discovers an odd stack of papers which seem to be addressed to him, the messenger going by the name of Peerless Cucumber.

Shen Yuan had just played the shittiest game that he had ever worked on, Bingpup Yandere Dating Sim was an absolute shit show of a game, no matter what you choose to do no matter how you do it, Luo Binghe would always end up with the Female lead IE The player. and once he had you he would go after the other woman in the game and you were expected to cheer him on.
Shen Qingqiu, the supposed antagonist and was one of Shen Yuan's favourite characters, only second to the protagonist. Mainly because he had the most common sense in the entire game, the majority of Ning Yingying's wife plot he was protecting his shimei only for her to fall hopelessly in love and himself being killed off.
As Shen Yuan died he cursed the stupid game and its stupid rules and its stupid harem, though it was certainly a surprise to see that he was still alive and now in the body of Shen Qingqiu, will he back off from Ning Yingying this time or will he be too attatched to not protect her...maybe he'll even end up curing the protagonist and save him from all his bullying.
