Summary
Princess Yasmin Khan had been raised knowing two things.
The first, is that the war will never end.
However when that was proven wrong, she learnt the second: That one day she will be the wife of the living Goddess of Gallifrey.
To most people, the first was no longer relevant, a memory of knowledge now shifted to victory or defeat depending on where you kept your feet.
To Yaz it became all the more relevant when she realised the meaning of the second.

Big city gal, Yasmin Khan, knows how to close a deal, and when a toy shop owner in the small town of Gingerbread Falls is refusing to sell to her company she is the one tasked with getting it done before Christmas.
Which would be fine. If Christmas wasn’t a week away.
And the shop owner wasn’t also Yaz’s ex-girlfriend.
Faced with mounting pressure, a looming deadline and the complexities of dealing with the lost love of her life Yaz struggles to keep it together. A task that wouldn’t be quite so hard if not for the fiancé Yaz has waiting at home, and the unexpected secret her ex is hiding from her.

Summary
A fake girlfriend is not something Yaz had put much thought, if any, into acquiring. It had just happened. As if she had been possessed by some Hallmark-movie demon.
But when Jordyn casually mentioning that she won't be doing anything for Christmas, coincides with Yaz’s mother calling to ask if she would finally be bringing a partner home with her the Hallmark-movie demon is activated. Entirely against Yaz's, and possibly Jordyn's will.
