Miles hesitates for only a moment before he speaks.
"Phoenix. What the fuck happened?"
The hospital room is cold and monochrome around them, silent as Miles anticipates a response. Phoenix shrugs with his good arm.
"Y’know," he pauses, giving a dry almost-laugh. "Occupational hazard?"
