Stan Pines parks on the side of the road to take a long, uneventful break from the long drive to his estranged brother's house. He swears he hears a little kid in the snowy darkness-
Pfft- yeah right...
Why would a kid be out here on the side of the road-
Ford made a grave mistake, and now there is a rogue individual on the loose, breaking into people's properties and acting quite feral. His friend Fiddleford is missing- he has a trail on him thanks to the kind Courduroys family and is going to fix this mistake no matter what it takes, he sends a card to his brother to take his research. If the instructions to the virus is taken maybe it won't happen again. Hopefully, he finds his assistant in time before everything goes wrong-
He hopes this "virus" isn't spreadable.

“Would you mind if I ask something first ?”, The other man ended up asking, his voice a bit unsure.
“Knock yourself out”, Fiddleford exclaimed through his barely disguised excitement, ready to hear what the other man would say.
Ford took a breath, clearly unsure of whether or not he should ask his question or not. But sure enough, he spoke up.
“How did you achieve all of this ?”, He said, gesturing all around him with his hands still attached to one another, looking unbothered by it.“The institute ?”, Fiddleford asked, clearly unsure of what Ford was trying to gesture to.
Ford nodded, “Yes, this…this is a bit harrowing to see if I’m being honest. Having everything my past self had sought out to achieve right in front of my eyes is a bit destabilizing. I’d simply like to know where I might have gone wrong, what I should or shouldn’t have done”
(aka - what if Fiddleford came back during the Ford possessed era)

Summary
Stan and Ford have done it: after years of bullying and humiliation, they were able to get the principal to punish their meanest bullies – Crampelter and his friends – and now the twins finally have some peace from them. At least, that's what they thought. But two days later, when Stan and Ford are separated for just a few minutes and Ford hurries alone to the next class, he unexpectedly runs into Crampelter and his friends. And they’ve already been waiting for the right opportunity to teach Ford a lesson for his ‘snitching’...
Meanwhile, Stan impatiently waits for his brother to finally show up for class. But Ford, who has never skipped class before, does not appear. And whether it’s a gut feeling or ‘twinstinct’, Stan knows for sure: something happened. His brother needs him. He has to find Ford.

He was a man that had everything, and nothing at the same time, in his hubris, he lost the one person he wanted this world for. There are some things therapy can never cure, so Stanford puts his attention on fixing his biggest mistake.
