Yuuji Itadori was fucked.
Absolutely, supremely, inexplicably fucked.
Genuinely, totally, super-duper fucked.
Super fucked.
Because standing in the very not-destroyed, dense streets of Shibuya, lined with the bright colors of department stores, hotels, tourist attractions, and advertisements plastered across every available space, Yuuji did not have Choso as support. He didn't have Fushiguro as support. He didn't even have Okkotsu as support.
Yuuji was inconceivably, utmostly, wholly, not-awesomely fucked because he was in the year 2005.
🔴 OR: Stuck over a decade in the past, Yuuji has resolved to do anything to ensure his future doesn't come to be.
It would really be a lot easier if Geto Suguru wasn't so overbearing, if Gojo Satoru wasn't such an asshole, if Ieiri Shoko stopped instigating things, and if Yuuji were just a tiny bit smarter.
But he was on his own, so damn it if he wasn't going to work with what he got.

The sorcerer killer was not a good man. Understatement of the year, certainly; but it had to be said. What can expected when suddenly, the fearsome ghost of the Zenin Clan is replaced by a witless idiot from the great year of 2024 of our world, on the date of the canon character's death no less? What the hell could a hopeless teenager do; thrust into the absolute worst time and position imaginable, in a world where just about everybody and everything wanted him hurt or dead one way or another?
Toji Fushiguro was the man who escaped fate. But only time could tell if he could rewrite it too.

If only she knew, Megumi thinks as he stares at the running water. It’s two in the morning and he’s standing in the shower. The steams and rhythmic sprays filter through. He’s the only one awake, the only one occupying a stall at two in the fucking morning.After Yuuji 'died', Megumi's lack of sleep is noticed by Nobara. There are bed sharing, sleeping, and a realization that this is becoming a thing. It's for the better, really.
