Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne was smart. Being smart had gotten him in a lot of trouble, and--for the most part--got him back out of trouble. But not this time. His plan to protect Bruce's legacy from Ra's al Ghul may have been successful, but he didn't think he would need a plan to protect himself from the scrutiny of his friends and family. He didn't think he would need a plan to avoid their very targeted questions.

He considered the kit, the grey jacket, and the disposable face mask. He laughed, which was too loud for someone who’d been bleeding in the cold for ten minutes.
“Fair point,” he said.
Three years ago, Tim Drake started quietly showing up after the Bats’ worst nights — anonymous, masked, and very good at not getting caught.
Lately, the family’s started comparing notes on a stranger who calls himself Red. They’ve also, separately, started falling for the quiet, snarky kid who lives alone in the house up the road.
They have no idea it’s the same person and Tim intends to keep it that way.

He spent some time on the streets, and now at 16, he makes a living as a fortune teller, stalking and hustling the shit out of Gotham's elite by telling them eerily accurate fortunes based on the information he gathers about them.
His life is peculiar but he wouldn't change a thing. When he gets booked for the big Wayne Halloween party, however, he finds himself getting all tangled up with the Waynes, and the more fortunes he tells, the tighter the snare becomes.or: Tim just wanted to scam Gotham's elite, not end up on the Batfamily's watchlist. But it seems they just won't leave him alone..
