"Hello?"
"Is this Yeon Sieun's phone?"
"Yes" Sieun replies, but he feels his heart getting caught up in his chest, the call seems too familiar, too terrifying.
"Im calling from Sungang University Hospital. I would like to inform you that patient Ahn Suho has woken up."

Summary
“Suho.” Sieun’s tone was final. “I need to study, you need to leave right now.” It hurt. It really hurt to push him away. But this is Yeon Sieun. An emotionally drained, lifeless psycho with no feelings. He didn’t deserve happiness. Suho shouldn’t have to downgrade himself for someone like Sieun. He gripped his pen tight, wrist aching as he began writing notes off his presentation.
“Don’t do this right now. Don’t shut me ou-”
“Suho!” Sieun yelled. He wasn’t going to let Suho finish that sentence. His face shot up. “Leave.”
“Please”, Sieun whispered, voice trembling. He stared at Suho, eyes glossy and bloodshot red from lack of sleep. He swallowed hard, his dry throat stinging.

Summary
Ahn Suho hated Yeon Sieun’s new friends, he thinks, as he stares at them from the windows. Its irrational, he knows, but he can’t stop the ache in his chest when he sees the faint curve of Sieun’s smile, not when it’s because of anyone but him.
Or in which Ahn Suho tries to be Yeon Sieun's only hero again after his coma.

Summary
Suho thought about In-yeong. The boy inches away seemed to call for it even in sleep. Hours ago, and countless times over the past few months, they'd touched each other and resonated like they’d met each other before. The faintest brush of skin felt like a memory, like they would meet again, and again. He knew he was young, that this could be a fit of devotion some would chalk up to being too naive to see reason. But Suho wasn't stupid.
He couldn’t bring himself to believe Sieun was anything but inevitable.
Maybe fate was real. Maybe no choice he’d made could change anything, after all. He felt it like some distant, unavoidable truth. Like Sieun, and maybe all the rest, had always been coming.
Or:
In another life, Sieun stops him. Maybe it's enough just to ask.
