Geez, this is probably worse than passing out. How could he even think about the possibility of falling asleep when Sonic was out there, fighting with who knows what! At least passing out would give him less of a choice. Falling asleep? He can’t do that! He can’t succumb to artificial sleepiness.
He fights it for as long as he can, but on the next slow-blink, he finds it impossible to open his eyes again.
