Summary
During a lavish imperial banquet in the palace gardens, **Maomao** wanders off to examine some plants, drawing the attention of two **soldiers** stationed to ensure security. Despite her true identity as the consort of Prince **Zuigetsu**, one of the soldiers, annoyed by her perceived impertinence, insults her and brutally slaps her.
The violence does not go unnoticed: Zuigetsu and **Lakan**, both witnesses to the event, intervene immediately. Their reaction is cold and resolute: the soldier’s arrogance crumbles instantly before the authority of the Prince and Maomao’s father, who publicly reveals her high status. While the perpetrator is dragged away to the dungeons by **Basen**, the tension dissipates thanks to Maomao’s usual composure. Order is restored, but the incident serves as a clear and chilling warning: those who underestimate the protection surrounding the Prince’s consort do so at their own peril. -

Summary
