Theres two dominant species in this world, the humans and the beast-kind.
Because of centuries of conflict and demonization, both species prefer to keep separate, with beast-kind hiding away in their own hidden towns and cities.
Unrelated to this; local job hunter, minor mercenary, and eternal broke traveler "Goldbullet" found a job where he had to get rid of a monster in some farm far away.
Instead the finds Jurard, a beast-kind that is lost and far away from anything that could be considered home.
Goldbullet promised him to find him somewhere safe to live; a promise that ends up being harder to follow than expected.
But hey, maybe they will meet new people! and maybe even get closer together in the process!
