Yuuji Itadori was fucked.
Absolutely, supremely, inexplicably fucked.
Genuinely, totally, super-duper fucked.
Super fucked.
Because standing in the very not-destroyed, dense streets of Shibuya, lined with the bright colors of department stores, hotels, tourist attractions, and advertisements plastered across every available space, Yuuji did not have Choso as support. He didn't have Fushiguro as support. He didn't even have Okkotsu as support.
Yuuji was inconceivably, utmostly, wholly, not-awesomely fucked because he was in the year 2005.
🔴 OR: Stuck over a decade in the past, Yuuji has resolved to do anything to ensure his future doesn't come to be.
It would really be a lot easier if Geto Suguru wasn't so overbearing, if Gojo Satoru wasn't such an asshole, if Ieiri Shoko stopped instigating things, and if Yuuji were just a tiny bit smarter.
But he was on his own, so damn it if he wasn't going to work with what he got.

Summary
All Din wanted to do was help Luke explore an abandoned jedi temple. Now they're 30 years in the past and Din accidentally convinced some jedi into thinking they've traveled forward in time rather than backwards. No-one asks Luke about this.
Basically Din ends up in the clone wars but through his lack of pre-empire knowledge and Anakin’s willingness to jump to conclusions, Din has accidentally convinced the old jedi order that he’s an ancient mandalorian and Luke is an ancient jedi. And no-one decides to explain this to Luke.

Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.

He shrugged. “Nothing, really.”
For a moment she studies him, then smiles and smooths his hair back like he’s still a little kid. “Good,” she says softly. “You’re learning.”
Yuuji doesn’t answer. He just stands there and lets her touch him, staring past her shoulder at the drying blood staining his hands, like rust sinking into metal.
Sick. He felt sick.

Summary
What comes after death when you are no longer a vessel? Yuuji had never gotten to this checkpoint before. What awaits a soul as old as his? Is a weapon needed there, too? He doesn’t know how much of a fight he has left in him anymore after 300 years, but he dies with his hands curled up into fists just in case, each finger slowly uncurling with each final breath he takes, alone with no one to surround him as he finally succumbs to his injuries, but his soul is free at last. At last.
Or, Yuuji grieves, and Megumi waits.

Megumi stops breathing for a second. His grip tightens until it hurts. He looks at Yuuji, eyes wide, caught between panic and something that looks a whole lot like hope.
"Yeah," he says, his voice barely a whisper. "I'd probably let you."

And when my time comes, you can die with me. Or you can live, and you can carry my memory with you. But don't you dare try to spare me by stealing all the years we have left. I won't let you."
