A wizening hand trembling as it gesticulates violently in the air, a rule broken in itself, harsh words of contempt wielded to his face: Lan Wangji has lost his mind. He has been tainted by foolishness. Has allowed himself to be manipulated off of the pure righteous path.
The mere sight of him, to the man who raised him and his elder brother, had been changed to something irreconcilable.
