Summary
Bram Matsuno and Hien Rijin become fast friends after the Scions travel to the Othard, seeking to divide imperial forces and win a path to freedom for Doma and Ala Mhigo. They have a lot in common: they are the same age, grew up just malms apart, and know what it means to watch their friends and family suffer the crushing grip of the imperial occupation that has held Doma captive for nearly three decades.
