"you know… i've been thinking about it for a while," pugsley stares intently at a point on the wall, drawing out the vowels in doubt. "actually, i also got you a little gift." eugene awkwardly blinks a few times, as if trying to digest the information pugsley has conveyed to him. his thick brows furrow in confusion. "but it can be a bit… weird, you know?"
eugene lets a quiet laugh escape his lips. his tone becomes playful, his mouth involuntarily stretching into a slight smile, while pugsley, on the contrary, looks at him with all his inherent seriousness.
"you're an addams, silly. your whole existence is already goddamn weird."
eugene chuckles again, but, noticing that pugsley is quite serious, quickly removes the smile from his face. he is obviously surprised and intrigued, but pugsley is dragging it out, as if he's having second thoughts in these few seconds.

Eugene was finally happy with his place in Nevermore after helping save the school with his good friend Wednesday.
When the Addams family asked Eugene to room and be friends with their son, Pugsley. Eugene thought it to be a piece of cake.
If he could handle Wednesday and nearly dying, he could handle anything.
But Wednesday and nearly dying didn't come with the utter annoyance of how this boy acted and how those actions caused butterflies in Eugene's stomach.
It was the first time Eugene hadn't wanted butterflies anywhere near him.Pugsley having fallen for him as well was an issue. As Pugsley was just like his father in love.
