George looked around and asked, “Oscar’s not coming?”
Alex snorted. “He said he might. You know how that goes.”
Max chuckled. “Yeah, he’s probably already out somewhere with a cute boy and an overpriced bottle of champagne.”
“Speaking about me?”
The voice came from just behind Lando, low, smooth, threaded with amusement.
He turned.
And okay. Yeah.
Cute boy, expensive champagne, it all suddenly made sense.
Or: the one where Lando tries to fix his broken heart with fun, flirting, and very bad decisions.

Summary
Max Verstappen has been bitter about the hand life dealt him for as long as he can remember. While his cousins grow up in ancestral estates and lavish mansions, he spends his childhood in a dingy motorhome, enduring the wrath of an abusive father.
Cunning, charming, and utterly ruthless, Max claws his way out of that life the only way he knows how – through lies, well-played deception, and perfectly executed cons. With a loyal crew of misfits at his side, he’s built an existence on the edge of society. Yet for Max’s insatiable hunger, this quiet life of petty scams isn’t enough. He’s only ever wanted what he believes should be his.
So he fixes his gaze on his greatest target yet: a heist against his spoiled, undeserving cousins – Lordling Lando Norris and billionaire’s heir Lance Stroll – the perfect marks to finally undo the shitty hand life dealt him.
Standing in his way is Detective Inspector George Russell, lead investigator with Scotland Yard’s Major Investigation Team – a man with a spotless reputation, a razor-sharp mind to match his own, and a personal history with Max that neither of them can escape.

“Did you learn your lesson, baby?”
Oscar asked, a creepy smile on his face as he looked at Lando’s terrified expression.
Lando’s eyes stayed locked on the man now on the ground, writhing in pain, blood seeping from his knee—the man he had kissed just hours ago.
“I will never hurt you. But I don’t mind hurting others,” Oscar added, still smiling.
“I… I learned my lesson. Let him go,” Lando said, his voice shaking.
“Let him go?” Oscar repeated, laughing loudly, making everyone around them jump.
His hand rose again, and in a second, another bullet was fired from his gun.
“You were too brave tonight, baby…”
Or,
Oscar Piastri only cared about his group, guns and enemies.
Lando? A boy in a yellow hoodie who works in an ice cream shop.
One wrong night, one act of kindness—and suddenly, Lando is pulled into a world of a mafia group… where mercy doesn’t exist. -

Summary
"You're a fucking coward, Oscar!"
Oscar lets go of the door handle and turns so fast that Lando's breath hitches. Dark, angry eyes meet his as Oscar takes a step towards him.
"Don't start," Oscar says quietly, but his voice is full of anger. His driver room suddenly feels too small, but not in an exciting way. "Don't even dare to judge me if you're not better yourself."
Lando swallows hard at Oscar's words. But what did he expect? Nothing more. He wants to yell at Oscar and shake him, but he knows that wouldn't change anything.
"At least I can talk about it," Lando snaps back. "About us."
He's had enough. This cat and mouse game. If Oscar wants to pretend like everything is normal, then fine, but Lando won't do that.
To his surprise, Oscar laughs. A short, bitter laugh that sinks directly into Landos heart and lands where it hurts the most.
"There is no us. And there never will be."
OR: Lando and Oscar are both fighting for the drivers championship in the 2025 season and for control over a rivalry that’s starting to feel dangerously personal.

Summary
“It’s probably not the best idea for us to do this,” Oscar says, looking away. “We’re living together, and the contract—”
“Fuck the contract,” Lando interrupts, exasperated. “We can add a clause to it or something, I dunno. It can be like those stupid rom-coms where they agree not to fall in love with each other.”
Or: Oscar Piastri is a lonely, closeted F1 driver who's one mistaken hook-up away from certain ruin. Lando is a down-on-his-luck photographer who's three days away from eviction. When Lando tries to mug Oscar in a desperate attempt to keep his housing, Oscar proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement: Lando lives with Oscar as his companion for one year. After that, they're free to go their separate ways. A rock-solid NDA and no hard feelings. What could go wrong?
