Of course he scares himself. Mika knows first-hand how horrible vampires can be. He knows what it’s like to have your blood sucked and wonder if this is the day you die. He’s given the disgusted stares and the terrified ones, too. He’s had loved ones taken…and taken again. He knows, and he’d rid the world of one less red-eyed monster if he could. But he can’t. Because humans turned his Yuu-chan into a monster as well, and he’d sooner burn in the sun than leave him alone in the world like he had to before. He has a choice this time, and he’s staying by his side.

They trained him and made him one of their own. Until it was time to finish his mom’s mission and protect the Blue Lion. Only that doesn’t really go as planned, because now he’s a Paladin of Voltron, hiding the fact that he’s a Marmora spy and half Galra.

The attention Kuroba was giving him mesmerized Saguru but at the same time frustrated him, because every time he thought Kuroba was finally opening up to him, the prankster always turned one hundred and eighty degrees and shut himself off again.
Whether it was to protect his secrets from Saguru or he just did it to piss him off, Saguru would never know.
He did not think it would have to come to a family drama and him being kidnapped for him to finally understand Kuroba's feelings towards him.
