Summary
The man just stares at Toge, raising his eyebrows in what appears to be confusion and amusement. He’s clearly older than Toge, with jaw-length black hair, dark circles under his eyes, and scars on his face, wearing a white button-up with the sleeves rolled up. He’s handsome, tall, beefy, and looking completely different than every run-off-the-mill gangster that frequents this place. The tattoos on his arms only solidify that.
For a moment, Toge is speechless and furiously blushing, keeping his gaze locked on the man’s face. He doesn’t know what to say.
The man nods toward the cigarettes behind Toge. “I said one pack of cigarettes.”
“Oh!” Toge snaps out of his daze and turns around to get them for him, nearly dropping them onto the floor from how much his hands are shaking.
the one where toge, a cashier working the night shift at a sketchy convenience store, meets okkotsu-san, a gangster.

Summary
It wouldn’t be smart to say yes to dinner with Okkotsu, but then again, Toge isn’t very smart. Besides, it’ll be a one-time thing, just this once to get the experience of going out with a gangster. Okkotsu is handsome, after all, and Toge doubts he’ll ever get a chance like this again.
Okkotsu will probably take him to a nice restaurant, somewhere with expensive food that Toge has dreamt of having again after graduating from culinary school and since visiting his parents. It’ll be divine, and maybe afterwards Toge will get a taste of something else.
or, toge agrees to a date with a hot gangster and gets way more than he bargained for. there is no escaping the yakuza once you're involved.

Summary
He sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. She’s stubborn, too stubborn, and she would happily go on stewing miserably next to him for the rest of the evening, but he’d much rather see her smile than the grimace she was currently wearing. Recently, he’d come to realise that she was very pretty, something that had taken him a long time to realise, as she was always pulling silly faces with Yuji– she was exuberant and high energy, but sometimes he caught her resting, pressed against the car door with copper strands of hair falling over her delicate jaw, emphasising its softness. Or when the light hit her brown eyes at a certain angle, bringing out small flecks of burnt gold. When she was angry, she had a habit of pouting, and wrinkles formed on her chin, which resembled the heavy, dimpled storm clouds which gathered in the sky moments before a deluge.
“Do you want to play?” He asks, attempting to sound neutral, but he isn’t asking. He is attempting to give her carte blanche. She is sitting there aching, watching other teenagers use poor technique. She has a strong aim, and watching these students fail over and over again is driving her mad. She hates incompetence more than she hates childishness.
