Qifrey meant to say he was fine, that he was just remembering their days as apprentices, that Agott was settling in well, or even that Olly was so good with her.
What he actually said was, “what if she drowns in the bath?”

Summary
Silver Eve has wrapped up, and Olruggio has returned home alone. He finds it completely normal, but the Knights Moralis have taken issue to the lack of his companion. According to them, there's another witch that should be with him and the apprentices, but none of the five seem to remember who.
After the incident, which occured shortly after their return from Silver Eve, everything has been wrong. Nothing Olruggio does seems to fill the new gap in his or the girls' life, and the atelier is suddenly too quiet.
Meanwhile, Qifrey is fleeing Zozah. There are people in Naakiwan Downs that he can't face, mistakes he's made that can't be remedied, things he fears. He'll do all he can not to return to his atelier, but fate seems to have different plans.
