“Describe it,” Dick challenges.
“I knew his face three years dead beneath a domino. I knew it as he carved a chunk of flesh from his own scalp and cursed my name…” His fingertips drift to a spot two inches behind his ear. Is that uneven texture the sign of a years-old scar, or just a tangle of hair?

Jason levantó la vista de su cuarto s'more y siguió la mirada de Bruce hacia arriba. "Woah". Se acercó lentamente a Bruce. Bruce no se movió. Jason podía ser como un gato asustado; si le prestabas demasiada atención, se ponía nervioso. Jason se apoyó lentamente en él y Bruce bajó con cuidado el brazo sobre los hombros del chico. Aún era nueva, aún frágil, esta confianza que Jason tenía en él. Bruce haría cualquier cosa por mantenerla viva.

Por fin encuentro al menos un relato que sea así!
Ser una figura paterna/familiar para un niño involucra cierta autoridad. El "pendejo, que te haces? te voy a llevar a casa" es algo que no se suele ver mucho y que siempre siento que hace falta
