Upon their defeat at the Battle of Hogwarts Harry uses an ancient ritual to send himself back in time to his 11 year old body and try all over again.

I remember a sense of longing.
The desire to be loved and kept safe in the arms of a loved one. To be tucked at night, to laugh and play in the sun. To love someone more than oneself, holding hands through life as one. To be desire and loved as I was. Truly loved. To be looked at like I hung the stars and shine a light on someone darkness. Not to make it go away, but to embrace it. To be loved unconditionally and love back just as fiercely.
I remember longing for that.It was a wish, a desire so deep and anchored in me that it engraved in my soul. It made me who I am, guide my action and thought. More than anything, I wanted to belong and be loved. Maybe that is why that part of me resonated so strongly with the desire of a small, neglected boy and woke me up from the calm void of death.
I remember that sense of longing, and I remember the story of one Harry Potter. It seems I am now this small boy, alone in a cupboard under the stair, at 4 privet drive.
As my story begins anew, I long again.
