Simon averted his gaze, staring somewhere between Grace’s knees and the dirt beneath his shoes.
It was funny, in a sort of way, that they wore the same shoes. Who would give the scientist and the experiment the same clothes? It seemed like a waste. Although, maybe for the Eridians, it made more sense that way, so they had to make less… blueprints, or something.

There is a new guest at Wangshu Inn, a particularly bold man who does nothing but disparage the work and value of Xiao's late lord. Xiao absolutely cannot forgive this kind of behavior, yet this man seems unflappably determined to get on his nerves.
