Summary
Because Crowley knew, as much as he did everything to keep it from happening, he knew how much the angel's heart cried whenever he was called, inherently or by text, to do what he was called a demon for, and he admired his way. to always be there for him, counting him as worthy of his love. Aziraphale was the only living being able to exorcise that devil's demons, doing him nothing but good even when it was the only thing he didn't deserve at all. It was Crowley's turn to gather the flaps between his boyfriend's neck and cheeks in an iron grip, and bring him close to let tongues and hearts meet to make peace in an inner war that was lost regardless.
