Jing Yuan waits for him to continue, and they stand in an awkward silence for a moment as he realises that is the end of the statement. “Was he unhappy with your service?” Jing Yuan inclines, holding his hands behind his back and fiddling with his fingers.
Teng Xiao brings up a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose in a bizarre gesture of discomfort, and sighs. “No. For some reason, he believes that you are the current Arbiter-General of the Luofu.”

The boy standing in the mirror wasn’t Wilbur.
He blinked a few times, and the boy in the mirror did too. He lifted a hand, with the stranger doing the same. When he flipped the reflection off, the bony and bruised hand flipped him off in return.
“This isn’t me,” Wilbur whispered in the stranger’s voice, the reflection mouthing the words in time with him.
This wasn’t him and yet the reflection in the mirror was telling him it was. The boy had curly blonde hair that was styled similarly to Wilbur’s, except the fringe wasn’t nearly as long. Wide set blue eyes stared at him, and after a moment of being frozen, he squeezed them shut, wondering if his reflection would be back to normal when he opened them.
His eyes blinked open, and he saw he was still blonde and blue-eyed. Fuck.
or, Wilbur is bored of the monotony of his life in a small town, and wishes for a new life. Meanwhile, Tommy is tired of the isolation that comes with living in the city, and wonders what it would be like to have a closer family.
Neither one meant they wanted to start swapping bodies.

“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Tommy has never seen an elytrian before. He’s only heard about them from old avian children’s books. How they were basically immortal predators that heralded from the mysterious End realm, a species that were ten times stronger and bigger than any avian. How they could fly for miles upon miles of empty void without stopping to rest once thanks to their heritage from the dimension of spacious floating isles.
It looks like the books weren’t joking.

Wilbur couldn't answer. They couldn't go back to the group home, they would give them new placements, separate them, and then Wilbur would never see Tommy again. They couldn't go back home, Wilbur still heard the screaming from the open window.
"We'll figure something out, I promise."
Or: Wilbur and Tommy run away from another foster home. Techno and Phil are roommates who just so happen to catch them stealing from their trash.

Relief flooded Tommy at once. Techno could help. He would help. Or at least he would kill him quickly. But he couldn't reach the knob. So he knocked again.
"Phil? You can come in." Techno spoke again. Tommy heard him climb down the ladder.
Tommy tried to yell through the door, only to find a shooting pain go through his ribs. So they were bruised after all. He decided to knock one last time.
There was shuffling inside for a moment and then the door opened to Techno holding his sword.
"Who's- Tommy?"
"Hey big man. You got some bandages?" Tommy spoke, and the world faded to black.

The entire universe is spread out underneath his finger tips, hundreds upon hundreds of stars swirling in constellations he doesn't know, a melting pot of dazzling colors, vivid pinks and deep blues, swatches of yellow and green.
If he squints, he can make out planets. Tiny little dots, hardly bigger than the nail on his pinky finger. That little grey one must be Lestea, the trade moon they just left, but the others? he has no idea.
One of them must be earth. How ironic is that he's the first human to ever leave the Milky Way Galaxy, and all he wants to do is go back home?
(In other words; After rescuing Tommy, sbi and co. embark on a roadtrip through the Esempi Galaxy to return him to his home planet, Earth. They make a few pit stops, piss off some shopkeepers, make some strange friends, and learn how to be family along the way)
