Summary
In a world where anything or anyone different is pushed down and forgotten, a girl is born.
She doesn’t seem odd at first- pretty viridian eyes and hair as white as snow, with blackened tips like soot.
But once she is seven, she gets into a fight and ends up being thrown in a psychiatric ward for a few months because she put someone in a hospital- using a strange power that she can’t control at all.
She only has one question- what happens to her next?
This is a one-shot told through a few snapshots about a character I created in my free time.

Despite all that, Grace has been doing pretty well! Much better than he’d expected himself to be, if he’s honest. Things had really settled down on this journey. There were no more crises to be averted, no more races against the clock to save the stars; there’s just the steady, reliable daily grind.

He pauses. “…Is Grace sure? Surgery is… a big, big, big deal on Erid. Very special, very rare. Very… important.”
Yeah, I would imagine so. I can’t imagine any sort of society where digging around in someone else’s insides isn’t a major thing. At least I have the reassurance that he’s taking it with the seriousness it requires. Then again, he always has, when it comes to our mission.
“I’m sure,” is what I tell him, and I hope that I sound convincing enough. I probably don’t though. “And I trust you more than anything. There isn’t anyone else I’d want more than you if I was under the knife.”
With a jolt, Rocky sits up high, like he’s been shocked. Is that pride? Maybe. I’ve gotten really good at reading his body language over the years, and I think it is. “Understand. Rocky trusts Grace too, statement. Will not let Grace down. Will be a very important occasion.”
